Welcome to Our Community Pipeline

America’s infrastructure is in crisis, but long-overdue investments are being made to modernize roads, bridges, telecommunications, and energy production. Yet, if we maintain the status quo of business and talent development, large segments of fellow citizens will be left behind from a major force positive in our economy. This is not an issue of capability, but one of access. We see new construction in our communities and the promise of infrastructure improvements on the news, and more jobs will be available than people to fill them. Those of us in business, government, and social service communities have a chance to come together at this moment and help remake our economy for everyone

Our workforce and small business landscapes are some of our country’s most precious assets, but we have to invest in them. Now, we have a chance not only to modernize our infrastructure, but the way we develop business and talent.

Community Pipeline Inc. (CPI) serves the heavy civil construction and utilities infrastructure sector with equitable business and talent development services. Seventy percent of Americans are employed by a small  business, and a quarter of all construction workers are self-employed. This is the highest rate of small business ownership than any other industry. But only 9% of general contractors are women, and fewer than 20% of general contractors are people of color. Growing the number of veteran, women, and minority general contractors will create much-needed job opportunities in struggling communities–giving more Americans ownership over the beautification and energization of their home.

In 2023, the Community Pipeline team will open our doors to local general contractors, job seekers, and current professionals looking to advance their businesses or careers
